BEAUTIFUL GASA HOT SPRING TREK

DAY 01 ARRIVAL AT PARO

Arrival at Paro Airport. Meet our representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 02 PARO - THIMPHU

This morning visit Drugyel Dzong, Satsam Chorten Monastery, Kyichu lhakhang and National Museum. Late evening drive to Thimphu following the winding road besides Pa Chu (Chu means river or water) down the stream to its confluence with the Wangchu river then up- valley to Thimphu. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 03 THIMPHU-TASHITHANG

a drive from Thimphu to Tashithang takes about 5hours. On the way stop at Do Chula pass to view the great Himalayan range and continue drive to Punakha. After lunch visit Punakha Dzong and continue drive to Tashithang. Overnight in camp.

DAY 04 TASHITHANG - GEON DAMJI

Today hike through the high agriculture benches above the Mo Chu (Mo Chu means female river) into a lush semi-tropical gorge filled with banana trees and occasionally Takin can be seen. Overnight in camp. Alt. 2,280m. Distance 15Kms.

DAY 05 GEON DAMJI - GASA HOT SPRING

The trail runs through the villages, fields, and oak and pine forests. Overnight in camp. Alt. 2,350m. Distance 15Kms.

DAY 06 GASA HOT SPRING - HALT

After late breakfast relax in the hot spring or scroll around the Gasa village. Overnight in camp.

DAY 07 GASA HOT SPRING - GEON DAMJI

After short climb from Gasa hot spring the trail winds through hillsides and villages. Distance 16Kms. Overnight in camp.

DAY 08 GEON DAMJI - TASHITHANG/ZOMLINGTHANG

The trail descends from the high agriculture benches above the river into a lush semi-tropical gorge filled with banana trees, creepers and an occasional Takin can be seen. A short drives to Zomlingthang from Tashithang. Overnight in camp.

DAY 09 ZOMLINGTHANG - THIMPHU

Drive to Thimphu takes about 4hours via Dochula pass. From the pass if the weather is clear you will see beautiful views of the snow capped mountains. Rest at Do Chula cafe for a cup of hot tea/coffee and snacks. Continue drive to Thimphu. Afternoon visit the Memorial Chorten, Nunnery Monastery, and Handicraft Emporium. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 10 THIMPHU - PARO DEPARTURE

Early breakfast and drive to Paro Airport for your onward departure flight.
